Our experience with Lizzy @ The Flower Story was nothing short of magical! From the moment we had our first call with Lizzy, we knew she would be the perfect match for our wedding. Her warm and friendly approach immediately put us at ease, and we felt confident that she understood our vision for the big day. She even went through the effort of making us a mood board and it hit the mark perfectly. Working with Lizzy was an absolute delight. She not only listened to our ideas but also provided valuable suggestions that perfectly complemented our vision. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the floral arrangements were so perfect on the day - Lizzy and the team took care of everything from the bouquet, to buttonholes, garlands for the dinner tables and ceremony as well as the most magical floating flower cloud I'd ever seen. The team also helped with rearrangements from the ceremony to the reception so we could make the most of our flowers and minimise waste which had been super important to us. Lizzy and her team are true artists and a wonderful bunch to collaborate with. Thanks again for everything!

Using The Flower Story for our wedding flowers was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Lizzie perfectly visualised and created something I struggled to articulate, and I couldn’t have been happier with how they came out. I had so many compliments on the arrangements and the beautiful elegant colour palette, and the brief of ‘wild but not too wild’ was perfectly pitched. We had a couple of meetings where we ran through everything step by step, and Lizzie showed me photos, flowers and ideas to help create the perfect palette. We were able to reuse these for a family lunch the next day and they were all still blooming beautifully. Lizzie also worked really closely with my cake supplier to ensure that the flowers ran through the day as a consistent theme. Thank you again Lizzie for being a lovely part of our special day x

Lizzy provided flowers for our wedding in August. She was so lovely and understanding. We had to reschedule the date several times due to the pandemic and she accommodated all of them. Lizzy was amazing from beginning to end. We were planning our UK wedding from abroad so we didn't have a lot of opportunities to meet in person. She met with us at very short notice and from then on everything went so smoothly. We didn't have very specific ideas but Lizzy knew what we wanted before we did. We had a family party the day after the ceremony and it was no issue to hold on to the vases for a few extra days, the flowers looked sensational at both parties. Where to start ... I spent a long time searching for the right florist for our wedding. With my Mum being an avid gardener, it was also super important to her too. So when we came across Lizzy and The Flower Story we knew we’d found everything we were looking for. Lizzy was incredible from the start - seamless communication, friendly and approachable, and willing to share her amazing ideas whilst listening and understanding our preferences. We didn’t have a dominant theme or colour scheme for our wedding - we just wanted the flowers to be natural, vibrant and colourful. And my goodness Lizzy delivered. Her flowers simply brought the barn to life and were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. She even took on a slightly quirky request of preparing a flower arrangement using our hiking boots and it was incredible ! Lizzy, thank you so so much to you and the team for all your creative awesomeness and hard work. The flowers were perfection ❤️ We cannot recommend The Flower Story highly enough!

Lizzy did all the flowers at our wedding, from the button holes, to the bouquet, to a big moss ‘G & G’ decoration. Our wedding was in October, but even though it was out of the prime ‘flower season’, we had a huge selection of vibrant, bright flowers - even my favourite, sunflowers! She did a fantastic job establishing what kind of look we were going for, and really got our style down to a T! We would 100% recommend Lizzy and The Flower Story to anyone wanting really standout and special flowers for their wedding!
